Accessing NFB-NEWSLINE Online

NFB-NEWSLINE offers a secure website designed to work with screen readers and keyboard navigation. You can read any available publication, search across all content, manage your account and favorites, and email articles to yourself — from any computer or tablet browser.

How to Log In

Visit www.nfbnewslineonline.org and log in with your subscriber ID and security code.

What You Can Do Online

Read publications

Browse the full library of newspapers, magazines, and breaking news. Navigate by section and article, the same as the phone service.

Search content

Use the built-in search tool to find articles on specific topics across all available publications.

Manage your favorites

Add or remove publications from your Favorites list, and set up email delivery preferences.

Update account settings

Keep your address, zip code, and email address current — especially important for receiving accurate emergency weather alerts.

Set Up Email Delivery

Have publications delivered to your email inbox.

  1. Log in and open Online Options

Choose Manage All Your Favorites from the Online Options page.

  2. Select Manage Your Email Favorite Publications

Choose the publications you want delivered.

  3. Turn on delivery

Return to the Favorites page and turn on delivery “with updates” or “without updates.”

Note: Some publications update content as often as every hour. The “with updates” setting may generate a large number of emails.

DAISY attachments

Full publications and sections are sent as .ZIP attachments in DAISY 3 format — you must have a DAISY reader such as FS Reader (Freedom Scientific) or Book Wizard (American Printing House for the Blind) to read them. Save all four attached DAISY files to a folder on your computer before opening. Individual articles are sent as plain text in the email body.

Screen Reader Compatibility

The site uses a text-only interface with minimal visual clutter and straightforward keyboard navigation.
