NFB-NEWSLINE Hawaiʻi holds community events, training sessions, and outreach activities throughout the year — across all islands. Whether you’re a new subscriber looking for hands-on help, a provider wanting to learn more, or an organization looking to partner, we’d love to connect.

What to Expect at a NEWSLINE Event

NFB-NEWSLINE Hawaiʻi events may include:

Open houses

Drop in to learn about the service, get help signing up, and try out access methods.

Training sessions

Hands-on help with the phone service, smartphone app, Alexa, or portable players.

Outreach presentations

At senior centers, libraries, medical offices, schools, and community organizations.

Conference appearances

At blindness, rehabilitation, and elder care conferences statewide.

Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Bring NEWSLINE to Your Organization

If you work with a senior center, hospital, rehabilitation program, school, library, or other organization serving Hawaiʻi residents who may be eligible for NEWSLINE, we can come to you.
