Accessing NFB-NEWSLINE on Android

The NFB-NEWSLINE Mobile app is free on Google Play. It works on Android smartphones and tablets, using integrated Android accessibility technologies including TalkBack and magnification tools. The app provides the same newspaper and magazine content as the phone service, regardless of access method.

Download the App

Search “NFB-NEWSLINE Mobile” in the Google Play Store.

Store link to be added.

First Launch

Enable location access when prompted — this ensures accurate weather alerts. The app includes four main tabs: Settings, Information Sources, Highlights, and KNFB Reader Basic.

You must log in through the Settings tab first. Until you do, the other three tabs are grayed out and inaccessible. The app reopens to the last tab you accessed.

  1. Open the Settings tab

Settings is where you log in and manage alerts.

  2. Enter your subscriber ID and security code, then tap Login

Your codes are the same ones you use for the phone service.

  3. Allow location access when prompted

Location is used only for localized weather alerts.

The Four Tabs
